In
the world of work, English is not a new thing anymore, but English is already
an obligation that we should know. In fact, English language proficiency requirement
is now used by various companies in attracting labor. To that end, the English
language is a basic need that must be fulfilled, especially the younger
generation who will soon graduate from school or college.
Ability
to speak good English can boost a person's career, especially for our own.
Meanwhile, for those who do not want to learn or hone English language skills,
usually lived career will stagnate without significant development.
I
am here to explain the success achieved that a person usually started from a
dream which was then supported by the hard skills and soft skills in the
process. But so far, we only focus on the hard skills abilities alone.
Meanwhile, the ability to speak and communicate that fall into soft skill
component just ignored. Yet in the world of work instead of soft skills sought.
One of them is English.
we
are smart and intelligent is not enough to compete in the world of work. Based
on the experience of someone who has had me wondering, now that the company is
looking for power on demand, which often arises is the prospective employees
who can speak English and have good communication skills.
For
example, there are companies then asked to look for an IT expert. But the
condition is not that like a robot. So clever and understand many things in IT,
but it's hard to communicate let alone presentations, such as robot like.
Companies usually do not pick like that. The company will choose who can speak
English is smart and intelligent. So from now for us the younger generation
should be graduates who can speak English so that we can compete in the world
of work and business. Want to be able to speak English, therefore from now
learn the English language. Even one word each day. As the saying says little
by little, long into the hills.
